COERR Supports Refugees’ Livelihood Promotion for Better Future

   In April 2018, several livelihood promotion activities were organized in refugee communities to provide skills to refugee groups of youth, adults and elderly who were interested in improving their living opportunities.

   COERR Mae Hong Son organized a training during 18-20 April for 108 schoolchildren of 71 girls and 37 boys in making dish washing liquid in which they have gained not only skills in producing things together but also received products that they can use in their houses as well.

   COERR Mae Hong Son support animal raising project by trying to reduce their cost so animal feed making using locally available materials is introduced.

  

  

   COERR MAE SOT organized cultural activity including exchanging experience of each elderly regarding their traditional knowledge. They also benefit from making washing liquid for household use. The elderly attending the activity in Nupo camp can also make their own washing liquid in the future.

      

      

      

   Soft Brooms are used in every household. Making soft brooms for one own use and for income generation are then supported. Traditional broom making from plants grown in the area are needed by market all year round. COERR Mae Sot organized this broom making training for youth during April 2-3, 2018 in Nupo camp.
